IT Subject Matter SME

Kforce is seeking an IT Subject Matter SME in Huntsville, AL. This role involves providing technical knowledge and analysis for specialized applications, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice. The SME will participate in all development phases, with an emphasis on planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation. Specialization in particular software or business applications is required, along with keeping abreast of technological developments. Key requirements include expertise in Postgres and experience with Oracle to Postgres migration.

• Provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation
• Participates as needed in all phases of development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases
• Typically requires specialization in particular software or business application utilized in an end user environment
• Keeps abreast of technological developments and applications
